Customer Review: GPSManp 76CSx in use
I use to have older verion of GPSMap 76S too. I have been happy with that device too. I use my device both in sea and in forest. Issue with old version in forest was short-time of using device with battery power. You cannot have satelite receiving on all the time while batteries are finished in few hours. But with 76CSx this all changed. I was up in mountains hunting 5 days and I had satelite receiving on at least 25 hours without any problems(lithium batteries)! That's wonderful.
Customer Review: My second Garmin
This is my second Garmin GPS and I absolutely love it. My first was the GP 72 and while I loved its features it was limited by its memory as I store a cubic ton of waypoints. The 76 CSx meanwhile has plenty of memory and the compass and barometer are spot on. I use mine for hiking, biking and boating and let me tell you it is rugged, dropped quite a few times, and even can survive falling into the water. Overall, I recommend the 76 CSx for anyone who wants an affordable, full capability GPS unit.

You can purchase a vehicle with a GPS system built-in that will help you with navigation when you are in unfamiliar territory and need directions. However, not all of us have the luxury of purchasing a car with that option. While an in-car GPS system is a great idea, portable is the way to go. Just like the in-car systems, your portable car GPS system will help you with turn-by-turn directions to help deliver you to your destination with ease.

TomTom is one company that provides portable car GPS systems. Maps are available for input of not only the United States, but Canada and Europe as well. Some models provide traffic information, too.

Portable systems, though, aren't just about getting there. Another handy feature of having a GPS system available in your car is voice address input. You speak to the GPS-controlled device instead of having to key it in, making it easy to use in your vehicle. Most portable GPS systems come with a hands-free kit to enable features such as the voice address input so that you are not required to remove your hands from the steering wheel to input information.

PDA GPS units, or personal digital assistants combined with GPS devices, are just as popular as dedicated handheld GPS units. Available with built-in antennas and receiving equipment so that you may utilize GPS features right from your PDA, this is a great item to consider. These devices are becoming more technologically advanced with qualities enabling your PDA GPS to receive a satellite signal more rapidly than ever before.

One review lists the following among the Top GPS systems for car navigation:

  • Garmin Nuvi 250, 350, 650, 660, and 670
  • Magellan Maestro 3100 and 4000
  • TomTom One
  • Mio Digiwalker C220 and C520

Research the various models and manufacturers and compare for yourself to find which model is going to best meet your needs. Many choices are available; do your homework, and you will find one designed specifically to match your requirements.

Superman - The Movie (Four-Disc Special Edition)

A box-office smash an Academy Award winner* and a fan favorite since it first flew into theatres in December 1978 Superman: The Movie assembles a cast and creative contingent as only a big movie can. At its heart (just as in three sequels) is Christopher Reeve's intelligent affectionate portrayal of a most human Man of Steel. Watching Superman again isn't just like being a kid again. It's better. The movie's legacy soared even higher when director Richard Donner revisited this beloved adventure 22 years later and integrated eight minutes into the film. Enjoy more footage of the Krypton Council a glimpse of stars of prior Superman incarnations more of Jor-El underscoring his son's purpose on Earth andan extended sequence inside Lex Luthor's gauntlet of doom. Reeve Marlon Brando (Jor-El) Gene Hackman (Luthor) and Margot Kidder (Lois Lane) give indelible performances that fuel the film's aura of legend. Looks like a swell night for flying. Customer Review: Without This, I would have never believed a man could fly.
Superman - the movie is the best superman movie. I am a kid and I read Superman and Action Comics and Superman is my favorite superhero. I never have seen the superman movies in theaters because i was never born then, so this is definitely the best for me. This DVD comes with the orginal theater release of the movie and the 2000 release of the movie with 10 more minutes of footage. They are both digitally remastered so his costume isn't green (yes i have seen it on a 20 year old tape). The extra two discs come packed with 2 documentaries about the making of the movie, one that was just made and another that was hosted by Christopher Reeve himself 20 years before. You will also get deleted scenes and screen tests too. Hope this review was helpful. Good Night.
Customer Review: Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I've been waiting for this ever since the first VHS release of this movie! Why? IT INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL THEATRICAL RELEASE. No longer do I have to suffer through the "bonus footage" re-added for the network TV premiere and every previous consumer media release, which only serve to validate my belief that there is a reason that films have editors. I couldn't sell my old versions fast enough. If you like the added footage, it's got that version too. Very nice packaging job as well. And I haven't even gotten into the other bonus material, I'm having such a blast re-living my original theatrical experience!

Due to the fact that reverse phone number lookups can provide you with a phone number owner's location, you may be wondering if a paid reverse trace can take your search even further and provide you with the exact physical location of a cell phone user. Even though this sounds feasible, in actuality, a backwards phone search does not use GPS.

GPS (Global Positioning System) is a satellite tracking chip that can be added to different technological devices for the purpose of tracing the exact location of the device. GPS technology is part of cellular phones. However, with the exception of certain children's phones that have special tracking devices that allow their parents to trace them, the GPS of the average wireless phone is only activated when the owner calls 911. This enables emergency response teams to pinpoint the caller's exact whereabouts so they can reach them as fast as they can.

Thus, the GPS in mobile phones is not something a reverse telephone number search can access or trace. The most location information that a cell phone lookup would be able to provide someone investigating a number is the owner's mailing address. Moreover, an address is only provided for cellular phone numbers if the investigator pays for the search. Hence, anyone who expects to be supplied detailed location facts without paying a fee will not find anything of consequence.

Can any location details be found on wireless numbers for free? Yes. The area code of the phone number entered will reveal to the searcher the geographical region the code is associated with. In other words, a person will learn the name of the state, and possibly the name of the city that is related to the phone number.

Therefore, if you are a cell phone consumer, and heard that reverse phone lookup services use GPS to track the physical location of mobile phone users, rest assured knowing that this is false. Though the geographical area in which you reside, and possibly your home address may be traced with a paid reverse search, no other location details will be found.

Travis Craig writes informative articles about phone number searches, area codes layouts, and how to find out more information about them.
